We are a family of 5 from St. Bernard Nova Scotia and this was our first time in Cape Breton.
Naturally we were in awe of the landscape the whole way through the Cabot trail, but our stay at the Mystical Beachfront Chalet was paramount to our experience.
We are a busy family and wanted our vacation to be relaxing more than anything.
The B&B had everything we needed to stay put, keep the to-do’s to a minimum and still keep the kids stimulated and happy.
The location is beyond beautiful everywhere you look, from the moment you are driving up to the location, the esthetics in the B&B with all of it’s natural light pouring throughout, to literally every window in the place offering a gorgeous view to enjoy any time of day.
We walked the beach in both directions via the neighboring path everyday, the addition of the hot tub, pool and sauna were great to relax with (especially after the long drive) and kept the kids entertained.
The only outing we had was one evening we all went for pizza at the South Harbor Pines wood fired pizza which was a great stop for pizza, good coffee & cake!
Everyone enjoyed the stay immensely and the memories we made there will last a lifetime.
We are so happy we chose this place for our summer vacation spot.
No regrets! We would highly recommend this stay to anyone wanting a peaceful and relaxing vacation.
